We have been making fine custom designed jewellery at this location since 1976.

We still find excitement and satisfaction in the journey through the creative process with each customer. From the traditional to the wildly modern, each piece we create is as unique as the person for whom it is designed.

Le Soleil provides  complete in-house design and jewellery manufacture, using  your choice of  precious metals. and an extensive on hand selection of gemstones, including both the expected and the uncommon. We especially enjoy resetting heirloom stones.


If you prefer your special piece  right away, there is a wide selection of ready made items from which to choose.  Like our custom work, every creation we offer is one-of-a-kind.

Le Soleil  is a full service jeweller. We respect fine existing jewellery and we are happy to repair and restore heritage items.

At the bench......

 We're pleased to have Estelle Curwen in the shop at Le Soleil. Estelle is accomplished at both creating original pieces in precious metals and other materials, as well as repair and maintenance work on existing fine jewellery.
 Originally from Montreal, Estelle has studied her craft in BC, Oregon, and California, and earned her BC certification as a goldsmith through the four year apprenticeship program. She has been at the bench for 30+ years, creating jewellery using both traditional and avant garde techniques. She is also highly skilled in the rare art of enamelling. Her designs exhibit great refinement and delicacy, and her enamelled pieces offer a fresh take on the classic examples of this art.
